On June 8,2021, Professor Wang Shouyang, School of Economics and Management of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, was invited to give a special lecture on "Digital Economy and Digital Management Teaching Materials Construction". The lecture was chaired by Professor Zhang Xiang.
Professor Wei Yiming, vice president of the University, Professor Yan Zhijun, secretary of the Party Committee of our school, Dean Professor Wang Zhaohua, Vice Dean Professor Zhang Xiang, and many backbone teachers attended the lecture. Before the lecture, President Wei expressed his gratitude to Academician Wang for visiting and the guidance.
In the lecture, Academician Wang first introduced the background of the construction of the new liberal arts and the organization of the two series of textbooks on digital economy and digital management, and introduced the action plan of these two sets of textbooks. Later, Academician Wang elaborated how to prepare a series of textbooks on digital economy and digital management in the era of digital economy, emphasizing how the new liberal arts should be built into a liberal arts talent training system with both global level and Chinese characteristics, as well as the necessity of digital management in the construction of new liberal arts. Academician Wang put forward that "how to organically combine teaching with scientific research" is an aspect worthy of attention.
