On October 16,2023, the annual meeting of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences(INFORMS) announced various awards in the field of Transportation Science and Logistics (TSL). The paper "Scaling Up Electric-Vehicle Battery Swapping Services in Cities: A Joint Location and Repairable-Inventory Model" submitted by Associate Professor Qi Wei, Tsinghua University, Zhang Yuli and his doctoral student, Zhang Ningwei, won the TSL Best Paper Award. Zhang Yuli is the corresponding author and co-first author of the paper.
INFORMS Annual Conference is the most influential annual international event in the fields of global operations research, management science and business analysis, attracting a large number of international academic and industry personnel every year. During the conference, INFORMS Transportation Science and Logistics Branch held INFORMS Annual TSL Business Meeting to focus on potential problems and solutions in the field of transportation science and logistics, and selected one paper to award the best paper award in the field of transportation science and logistics.
