May 25, 2017, the School of Management and Economics Lunch&Learn was held in the main building conference room 422. Department of Management Science and Logistics Professor Zhang Xiang gave a report entitled: Beijing Economic and Social Sustainable Development Research Base grants applications and rewards. The academic luncheon was hosted by Professor Liu Hongmei, and more than 20 teachers from the School attended the exchange.
Beijing Economic and Social Sustainable Development Research Base (hereinafter referred to as "Research Base") is our first Beijing philosophy and social science research base. It is an important school think tank jointly approved by the Beijing Municipal Philosophy and Science Office and Beijing Board of Education in 2015. Professor Wei Yiming is the chief expert. At the meeting, Professor Zhang Xiang first introduced the research fields and development situation of the research base. Then, three kinds of vertical research projects and selection mechanism, such as the cultivation projects, the recommended projects and the publishing projects, were introduced. The strategic orientation and the incentive mechanism of the research base were also introduced. Finally, the academic exchange activities of the research base were presented.
