In order to promote the optimization of the graduate education structure, enforce the professional degree education reform and development, speed up the high-level talents training and create professional degree education high quality brand, relying on the quality resources of the original EMBA education center, the MBA education center, the Engineering Gradute education center and the EDP education center, integrating each center’s excellent management system, the School of Management and Economics Professional Degree Education Joint Center was established in December 2016.
The success of the seminar series hosted by the Joint Center was unanimously affirmed by the school's leadership. Professor wei yiming made clear that the Center needs to open up and take seriously the opinions and suggestions from teachers. The establishment of a professional degree education joint center is still a minority in China, and there are not many precedents. Since the School has broken the limitations of the inherent thinking, we need to make full use of the advantages of ready access to resources and unified management, improve the teaching quality and cultivate outstanding creative management talents. Party Secretary Professor Wang ZhaoHua also emphasized the significance of the seminars, and pointed out that mentor team construction, paper quality control, curriculum system adjustment, teaching staff construction, and brand promotion are key to the future development.
