August 1, 2017, at 2:30 pm, at the invitation of the School of Economics and Management, Prof. Zhang Dongsong, University of Maryland, Baltimore, USA, visited our school and made a presentation entitled "Proactive and personalized intervention for suicidal ideation on social media" in conference room 418 of the main building. The report was hosted by Professor Yan Zhijun. A number of teachers and students attended the report.
Professor Zhang Dongsong received his Ph.D. in Management Information System from Eller School of Management, University of Arizona in 2002. He is now a professor of information system at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, USA (tenure). He is a part-time professor of out school. His research mainly includes knowledge management, online community, e-commerce, automatic identification of online fraud and other fields. At present, he has published about 100 academic papers in related academic journals and conferences, including MIS Quarterly, Journal of Management Information Systems (JMIS), IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering (TKDE), IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, Cybernetics, Decision Support Systems and Information & Management.
