October 26, 2011, in the afternoon, invited by Dean Professor Wei Yiming, also Director of the Energy and Environmental Policy Research Center, Dean Professor Lin Shimo, Taiwan Chung Yuan Christian University Business School, visited the Center and delivered a report entitled "Renewable Energy and Energy Security - In Taiwan". Associate Dean Professor Wang Zhaohua presided over the lecture.
Professor Lin Shimo Description:
Professor Lin Shimo received his Ph.D. in Energy and Resource Economics from West Virginia University. He once served as an Associate Professor, Professor and Head of International Trade Department, and Head of the Applied Economic Research Center, Taiwan Chung Yuan Christian University. He was appointed Dean of the Business School in August 2009. Lin's teaching and research interests are measurement methods, multivariate analysis, economic models, business and economic forecasting, energy economy, industry economic analysis.
