On the afternoon of March 30, 2018, Dr. Yang Song, Executive Director and Deputy General Manager of BOC Samsung Life insurance Co., Ltd., was invited to give a lecture titled "Application of Insurance Funds - Controversy and Future".
Dr. Yang Song introduced the development history of the insurance industry, the origin of funds and business models, and listed outstanding issues in the use of the insurance industry and insurance funds, in light of the dispute between Bao and Wan, where Ampang went, Ping An’s repeated being savage and other current affairs. Stressing that "we must seek truth from facts in insurance work, we must fully disclose the problems and risks. Only by clearly revealing the problems and risks, will the outside world have confidence in the industry." At the same time, Dr. Yang Song also explained the concept of asset allocation in the global insurance industry, and made experience summaries: First, fixed income asset allocation occupies a major position; second, the proportion of equity assets allocation is low; and third, the proportion of alternative investments gradually rises. The lecture ended successfully in the warm applause of the teachers and students.
