From June 30th to July 4th, 2018, the School of Management and Economics of Beijing Institute of Technology, 2018 National Excellent Summer Camp (Management Science and Engineering, National Economic Mobilization) was successfully held in the School of Management and Economics. The summer camp attracted more than 200 students from dozens of colleges and universities across the country. After screening, 33 students from more than 20 universities including Northeastern University, Central South University, Southeast University, and Beijing University of Science and Technology attended the summer camp. During these few days, the students lived together and learned about the basics of management science and engineering, national economic mobilization, and experienced the life of Beijing Institute of Technology.
On July 1st and 2nd, Prof. Yan Zhijun, Professor Cui Lirong, Professor Zhang Xiang, Professor Liang Qiaomei, Associate Professor Zhang Yuli and Associate Professor Zhang Jihai of the National Economic Mobilization Department gave a wonderful academic report for the students in the Department of Management Science and Engineering. Through these academic reports, the participating students have a preliminary understanding of the main research contents of relevant disciplines and the situation of relevant research teams, and deepened their understanding of these two disciplines.
