At 17:10 on November 27, 2018, the first Golden Wind Cup Beijing Institute of Technology Smart Energy Challenge was held in Room 241 of the main building.
At the presentation, Wang Huaiyu, director of the Graduate Center of the School of Management and Economics, introduced the recommended instructors of the competition. Zhang Feng, head of human resources department of Goldwind-Tiancheng Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd., Bai Chunling, senior data analysis engineer of Digital Department, and Chen Xiaomo, head of the Business Development Department, explained the basic situation of the company and the topic of this competition. After that, the instructor answered questions. The students raised questions about the competition system, the selection method and the difficulties encountered during the competition. The on-site tutor answered the relevant questions.
The Golden Wind Cup Beijing Institute of Technology Smart Energy Challenge was initiated by Professor Wei Yiming from the School of Management and Economics. The School of Management and Economics and Goldwind-Tiancheng Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. jointly organized the event. A total of 22 teams of more than 100 students from eight schools including the School of Management and Economics, the School of Computer Science, the School of Information and Electronics, the School of Materials, the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the School of Mechanics and Vehicles, the School of Mathematics and Statistics, and the School of Automation participated in the competition
