May 25, 2012 at 10:00 am, Professor Zhang Wei, Director of the Management and Economics Department of Tianjin University made an academic report entitled "computational experiments to explore the complex financial system” in the Main Building Conference Room 317. Dean Professor Wei Yiming, Associate Dean Professor Dong Peiwu and Professor Wang Zhaohua presented in the meeting. The report was hosted by Assistant Dean Professor Yan Zhi-Jun.
Speaker Profile:
Professor Zhang Wei serves as vice president of Tianjin Association of Experts, director of the Department of Management and Economics, Tianjin University, and chief professor of financial disciplines in Tianjin University of Finance. Received Ph.D. degree on Systems Engineering from Tianjin University in 1988. Senior visiting scholar at Haas School of Business University of California at Berkeley in 1994-1995. Visiting professor at Ren Si Lier University in 1998-2000. Main research direction involves the financial asset pricing and risk management, computational experimental finance and SME financing.
