June 12, 2012, the School of Management and Economics held an academic lunch. Associate Professor Chen Song-sheng, Department of Accounting made a presentation entitled "Association between Enterprise Resource Planning Systems, and Accounting Conservatism". The luncheon was hosted by Sun Liyan, deputy director of the Department of Accounting. More than 20 teachers participated in the event.
Associate Professor Chan Song-sheng first introduced ERP systems implementation and the concept of accounting conservatism, as well as accounting conservatism measurement method. He pointed out that ERP reduced accounting conservatism and forecasted changes in accounting conservatism driven by demand.
