In order to promote the construction of business administration discipline, the School of Management and Economics passed the AMBA certification in 2011 and 2014 respectively. Over the past few years, the construction of business administration discipline has made important progress, and the brand awareness and market competitiveness of MBA programs have been continuously improved.
According to the requirements of AMBA certification, AMBA appointed AMBA China Accreditation Chairman, senior professor of humanities and social sciences at Zhejiang University, Professor Wang Chongming, and Professor Gunther Friedl, Dean of the School of Management at the University of Technology in Munich, Germany, to visit the School of Management and Economics in the afternoon of September 18,2019 to learn more about the development and achievements of the MBA program in the past five years.
Professor Wang Zhaohua, Secretary of the Sub-Party Committee of the School of Management and Economics, on behalf of the School, warmly welcomed the arrival of the two experts and introduced the achievements of the School of Management and Economics in recent years in discipline building, talent training, research and social services.
Though visiting and communicating, experts gave fully affirmation on the achievements of MBA program at the School of Management and Economics over the past five years, while put forward the guidance on the future development of MBA programs, how to serve the Belt and Road Initiative, serve economic development and innovation in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, and cooperation with the enterprises.
