November 22, 2012, invited by Dean Professor Wei Yiming, Director of the Energy and Environmental Policy Research Center, Professor Yan Jinyue, the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology, visited our school and gave an academic report entitled "Transition of Future Energy System". The lecture was hosted by Associate Dean Professor Wang Zhaohua.
In the report, Yan first described the current situation and development of the Journal of Applied Energy. Then he introduced the Swedish energy system development process, summed up the experience of Swedes per capita GDP growth with the decline in per capita carbon emissions. Finally Professor Yan introduced the key to the development of the future energy system, including a stable energy supply system, state-of-the-art energy management, energy technology innovation and end-user use.
