December 11, 2012, in the afternoon, Dr. Wenbin Guo, Australian La Trobe University, was invited to visit our school and gave an academic report entitled "How to Design Analytic Questionnaires for Matching Research Purposes?" at room 418 in the main building. The report was hosted by Ni Yuefeng, head of the Marketing Department. Teachers and students from the marketing department listened to the report.
In the report, Dr. Wenbin Guo, in layman's language and graphs, elaborated statistical concepts, and described special attentions required in designing questionnaires. He particularly discussed the importance of analytic questionnaire design and the methods, and compared the differences between analytical questionnaire and evaluation questionnaire. Participating teachers and students further led the lecture to lively discussions in the practical application of the design methods for the two questionnaires.
