April 25, 2013, invited by Dean Professor Wei Yiming and the Energy and Environmental Policy Research Center, Professor Zhang Guoqing, University of Windsor, Canada, made a presentation entitled "multiple -product acquisition planning with demand uncertainty ". The report was hosted by teacher Wang Ke.
Professor Zhang Guoqing first started with a brief introduction of Windsor, and the University of Windsor, Canada. He then introduced supply chain management research team of the University of Windsor. Secondly, from the classic newsboy problem, Professor Zhang illustrated procurement optimization under demand uncertainty involving the latest research of the supply chain management and applied research on supply chain management, hospital management, finance, and energy. Finally, Professor Zhang proposed a price solution to manage the uncertainty of customer demand.
