May 8, 2013, in the afternoon, to deepen understanding of Japanese universities and further promote teaching and research cooperation with Nagoya University School of Economics, the SME and the School of Economics Nagoya University signed a framework cooperation agreement. Professor Takakuwa Soemon of Nagoya University School of Economics, Dean Professor Wei Yiming, Professor Yan Zhi-Jun, BIT Crisis Management Research Center Director Professor Li Zhixiang, and student representatives participated in the signing ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by Associate Dean Professor Kong Zhaojun.
Under the agreement, the two universities will joint hands in academic research, researcher exchanges, student exchanges and joint training, exchange of information and other fields of academic cooperation. Nagoya University School of Economics and the SME have been maintaining good relations of cooperation. The signing of the cooperation agreement will be beneficial in introducing international quality teaching resources to promote the internationalization of our school building process.
