Dr. Tang Li, Shanghai University of Finance / Georgia Institute of Technology, Gives Lecture

June 5, 2013, Dr. Tang Li, Georgia Institute of Technology Ph.D. in Public Policy, Assistant Professor at Shanghai University of Finance School of Public Economics and Management, and researcher at University of Georgia Technological Innovation Platform, was invited to make a presentation entitled "The U.S.-China Collaboration, Knowledge Moderation, and the Rise of China in Nanotechnology”.  Professor Liu Yun hosted the lecture. Associate professor Yinq QiuJu, Dr. Yi JinChao and Technology Evaluation and Innovation Management Research Center postdoctoral fellows and graduate students attended the lecture.
Dr. Tang presented her doctoral study in great details:  the integrated use of management, sociology and information science theories and research methods helped to carry a three-dimensional analysis on large global nanotechnology literature database (1990-2006) from research co-author, citations, and keywords, outlined Sino-U.S. scientists cooperation in the field of nanotechnology and its impact on China nanometer dynamic trend development.

Tang Li, Georgia Institute of Technology School of Public Policy Ph.D.. Now Assistant Professor at Shanghai University of Finance School of Public Economics and Management, and researcher at University of Georgia Technological Innovation Platform (part-time). Research specialized in public policy analysis, technological innovation, knowledge management, project evaluation, technology assessment and forecasting. Published more than 30 research papers and consulting reports as first author, including 10 SSCI / SCI indexed articles (including two book reviews and a dissertation abstract).
