October 10, 2013, in the afternoon, invited by the school of Management and Economics, Dr. Mr. Cheng Xiaoming, Western Securities assistant general manager , gave an academic report entitled "The third new board - China 's NASDAQ" at room 241 in the main building. Dr. Huang Lu hosted the report. SME teachers, graduate students, undergraduates and some business representatives participated in the report .
The current Chinese financial markets are facing many problems, such as " small and medium enterprises financing difficulties ". Dr. Cheng pointed out that the SMEs financing difficulties in its essence is difficult to trade, and hard to get listed. Dr. Cheng based on his years of research on NASDAQ mode, explained the current status of the development of the new third board as well as its similarities with the Nasdaq, and pointed out the new third board prospects and future development orientation.
