March 3-April 15, 2014, Professor Yang Zili, an adjunct professor at our school, and a professor of economics at Binghamton SUNY, was invited to visit our school and teach a graduate course in Advanced Micro and Resources Environmental Economics for graduate students in a interdisciplinary track of "Energy and Climate Economy ".
In the seven-week course, Prof. Yang highlighted "General Equilibrium Theory and Applications," "General equilibrium theory and mathematical programming, welfare economics", "Market failure: public goods and externalities", "Dynamic optimization and optimal control method "," Optimal exploitation of non-renewable resources, "" Non-renewable resources, market structure", " Sustainable production of renewable resources” ,"Optimal use of environmental resources "and other issues.
