August 2-6, the 2015 Portland International Center for Management of Engineering and Technology (PICMET 2015) was held in Portland, Oregon. The theme of the conference is "Management of the Technology Age",
All four papers submitted by our Knowledge Management and Data Analysis Laboratory were selected. Dr. Zhang Yi (Beijing Institute of Technology and University of Technology Sydney dual degree phD student), Dr. Chen Hongshu (Beijing Institute of Technology and University of Technology Sydney dual degree PhD student) and Dr. Huang Ying (Beijing Institute of Technology and Georgia Institute of Technology joint training phD student) delivered speech entitled“Technology Roadmapping for Competitive Technical Intelligence”, “Identifying Target for Technology Mergers and Acquisitions using Patent Information and Semantic Analysis”, “Modeling Technological Topic Changes in Patent Claims”, and “Tracing Technology Evolution Pathways by Combining Patent Citation Analysis and Tech Mining”. BIT Adjunct Professor Alan Porter won the Medal of Excellence.
