A very pleasant gathering fondly nicknamed Ideal Luck Pie to mimic the pronunciation of Idyllic Party, sponsored by the School of Business and Economics, was held in the evening of December 30, 2009 on the fourth floor of the new canteen complex, Zhongguancun Campus.
The party was honored by many guests from both other BIT schools and University-level organizations in addition to several student leaders from fellow universities.
14 pieces of performance were presented from among School students and won heated applauses for their artistic level and amusing nature.
A Hip Hop show met the eager eyes and ears of party attendees first, given by performing artists from students of the School of Continuing Education.
Mr. Wang Dong, nicknamed King Pop, and Miss Lü Mengnam, both finalists in previous singing competitions gave an affectionate vocal duo.
The BIT martial art team dazzled everybody with their Gongfu skill.
Guest Artists from China Women’s University offered their impressive poem-reading.
Another breaking dance, this time from amateur street dancers BIT-wide, aroused the second excitement among the audience.
The orchestra of BIT Student Art Troupe entertained all with an opus Canon.
Mr. Wang Cheng, librettist, songwriter, singer in addition to a BIT student came to the party to sing a beautiful song written by himself.
Performances, games, greetings, etc., all together, brought all party-goers excitement, enjoyment and merriment.
