Mr. Liang Jie, a high-profile official of Bureau of Fair Trade for Imports & Exports, Ministry of Commerce, PRC, came to SME on April 27 to talk on the surging emergence of trade barriers the world over as the result of global financial crisis, a situation causing serious concerns in China.
His talk Trade Frictions and Ways to Ease began with an introduction to relevant concepts such as dumping, antidumping, subsidy and anti-subsidy, followed by analyses of the originating causes. After disclosing a list of China’s current institutions dealing with trade remedy assistance issues, a detailed account of the impacts China is undergoing in this crisis and our policies to lead her international trade out of this situation were narrated.
