September 25, 2010, at 14:00, - SME 30th Anniversary Alumni Forum was held at the Lecture Hall of the Main Building. More than 500 people including Sun FengChun, Vice President of BIT, Li Jin-Lin, Party Secretary of SME, alumni and students attended the forum. Professor Wu Qizong, Doctoral Supervisor, chaired the Forum.
First, Vice President Sun Fengchun affirmed in his speech of SME’s rapid development, and expressed congratulations on the thirtieth anniversary on behalf of the Institute.
The Forum began in warm applause. Alumni from various fields gave speeches on their understanding of business management and economic development.
Mr. Gao Fubo, Chairman of Jilin Trust and Investment Company Ltd. made a speech entitled "Post-financial-crisis Investment Philosophy". He described from four industries: real estate, stocks, finance and resources.
Mr. Wang Minzheng, Mayor of Zhaotong City of Yunnan Province, talked"Local Government Management Experience". He introduced the Chinese government's management and operational structure, described current China's thinking confusion "Power Reflects Value", and discussed definition of a government.
Next, Ms Yu Jiayi, CEO of Beijing JiaBoWen Biotechnology, gave a presentation entitled "Innovation and Growth". Her speech focused on the development of recycling industry in organic waste and promotion of balance between the economic development and ecological protection.
Mr. Liu Qingchun, Deputy Managing Director of China Minmetals HK Holdings Limited, addressed in a title of "Strategic Considerations of Investment in Mineral Resources Overseas" He described the types of mineral resources, roles, status and supply situation.
During the Forum, alumni interacted and exchanged actively on hot issues of economics and management. Q & A collision sparkled ideas. The forum concluded successfully in a warm applause.
