On the afternoon of February 17, 2017, Prof. Xie Wei of Peking University was invited to visit our school and gave a talk entitled " Assessment of Climate Change Economic Impact - Taking Agriculture as an Example". A nubmer of teachers and students from the CEEP attended the report. The report was hosted by Professor Liao Hua.
Xie Wei is a researcher and doctoral tutor of Peking University Institute of Modern Agriculture. He mainly engaged in teaching and research work on climate change economy and policy, agricultural economy (agricultural supply and demand forecast) and CGE model
In this report, Dr. Xie Wei introduced how to assess the social and economic impacts of climate change, taking agriculture as an example.
