On the afternoon of February 21, 2017, Prof. Yan Jiyue of the Royal Swedish Institute of Technology and the University of Mela Darren were invited to visit our school and presented an academic report entitled "Smart Multi-Energy Systems (sMES)". A number of teachers and students from the CEEP attended the report. The report was hosted by Professor Tang Baojun.
Professor Yan Jinyue is an expert in the international energy field. In 1991, he received his Ph.D. in the Royal Swedish Institute of Technology. In 2001, he was appointed as a tenure professor in Sweden. Currently academician of the European Academy of Sciences and Art, Professor of the Royal Swedish Institute of Technology and Mela Darren University, Director of the Future Energy Profile; Dean of the Research Institute for International Applied Energy Innovation.
In this report, Professor Yan first introduced the smart multi-energy system (sMES) concept and application requirements, and from the technical, economic and environmental perspective, introduced the feasibility of sMES.
