2011 SME summer social practice Beijing group, led by 08 counselors Sun Qiuhong have successfully completed the practice of "passing books". The group, as the main sponsor and the proponents of the activity, mobilized and coordinated the participation of 24 universities and more than 30 campus environmental protection groups in Beijing.
The activity is to collect idle books, and redistribute books through network technology, both online and offline. Ultimately, the purpose of the activity is to pass the books to students most in need. Currently, they have collected more than 120 thousands copies.
At the beginning of a new school year, 24 participating colleges and universities will start to distribute books, and a website will be soon launched to carry out the daily book transfer among Beijing colleges and universities.
