On the morning of March 30, the School of Management Science and Engineering of the School of Management and Economics held a seminar on discipline construction in the conference room 345 of the main building, to plan the development of management science and engineering disciplines and promote the sustainable development of the discipline. The conference was hosted by Prof. Wei Yiming, Dean of the School of Management and Economics, and a number of professors from the faculty of Management Science and Engineering attended the meeting.
Professor Wei Yiming briefly introduced the overall development of management science and engineering disciplines, summed up the achievements made by management of science and engineering disciplines and the good momentum of development, as well as the discipline development goals during "Thirteenth Five". Participants also had full discussion and exchange on the discipline construction and development, key links in discipline construction, the increase of the level of discipline, training of personnel of excellence and other aspects. They also put forward a number of constructive comments and suggestions as to our school management science and engineering disciplines positioning, characteristics condense, Team building and discipline construction to promote the improvement of the quality of education.
