The National Natural Science Foundation of China has announced the results of the 2024 application projects. Our school has received 18 funded projects, with a total amount of 61.04 million yuan, hit a record high. Professor Wei Yiming’s project "Energy Economy and Climate Policy Research" passed the site investigation. Professor Qu Shen was approved as the National Science Fund for Outstanding Young Scholars, and Professor Yan Zhijun was approved as a key project. In addition, 9 general projects and 6 Youth Science Foundation projects were also approved.
Our school attaches great importance to the cultivation and application of national Natural Science Foundation projects, thoroughly implements the "six-level linkage" management mode of the school, and earnestly organizes the application and mobilization and implements the precision management of the application process. We will improve the quality of project applications through comprehensive mobilization and precise guidance. In the future, the School will continue to do a good job in the application and management of teachers scientific research projects, promote the high-quality development of scientific research, help the discipline construction and talent training, and serve the national major strategic needs.
