2019年5月20日上午，應(yīng)管理與經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)院管理工程系邀請，同濟(jì)大學(xué)經(jīng)濟(jì)與偉德國際1946bv官網(wǎng)Carol Hsu教授在主樓429會(huì)議室作了題為“Conducting an interpretive case study”的學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告。報(bào)告會(huì)由管理工程系張永勛副教授主持，管理工程系老師、部分博士生及碩士生參加了研討會(huì)。
在今天的報(bào)告中，Carol Hsu教授首先對案例研究方法進(jìn)行了介紹，討論了實(shí)證型案例研究與解釋型案例研究兩種方法之間的不同之處。接下來分享了自己在進(jìn)行解釋型案例研究過程中關(guān)于研究問題創(chuàng)新、案例選擇以及數(shù)據(jù)收集等方面的經(jīng)驗(yàn)，特別強(qiáng)調(diào)了案例選擇時(shí)的機(jī)遇、溝通技巧、開放意識(shí)、耐心以及掌握相關(guān)文獻(xiàn)的重要性。最后Carol Hsu教授介紹了她本人最近使用解釋型案例研究方法的主要成果，該成果針對現(xiàn)有文獻(xiàn)較少有人研究智能技術(shù)產(chǎn)品設(shè)計(jì)的演變及其觸發(fā)變化的環(huán)境，探索了兩方面問題：（1）隨著時(shí)間推移，如何將數(shù)字技術(shù)結(jié)合起來構(gòu)建智能產(chǎn)品和服務(wù)？（2）驅(qū)動(dòng)智能產(chǎn)品和服務(wù)設(shè)計(jì)的動(dòng)力或生成機(jī)制是什么？
報(bào)告結(jié)束后，Carol Hsu教授認(rèn)真回答了各位老師和同學(xué)們的提問，并且分享了她在學(xué)術(shù)研究過程中選題、論文寫作和投稿等方面的寶貴經(jīng)驗(yàn)，同學(xué)們受益匪淺。
附：Carol Hsu教授簡介 Carol Hsu is a distinguished professor in the Management Science and Engineering Department at Tongji University. She holds a Ph.D. in information systems from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her research interest focuses on two areas: digital innovation, and information security management. Her work has been published in MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems, Communications of the ACM, and other outlets. She has been invited to present her findings to various international industry conferences (SIBOS, SWIFT Funds & Securities Automation Summits, etc.) She currently serves as Senior Editor at the Journal of Strategic Information Systems and Information Systems Journal, as an Associate Editor at Information & Management, and on the editorial board of the Journal of the AIS, and the IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management.
