主講人簡介：
曹植，比利時(shí)安特衛(wèi)普大學(xué)長聘軌研究員、博導(dǎo)，博士畢業(yè)于中國科學(xué)院地理科學(xué)與資源研究所，曾在美國西北大學(xué)、丹麥南丹麥大學(xué)從事工業(yè)減排、產(chǎn)業(yè)生態(tài)、資源代謝分析及全生命周期分析等方向的研究與教學(xué)工作，主持及參與了比利時(shí)特別研究基金、中比合作研究項(xiàng)目、中科院戰(zhàn)略先導(dǎo)、歐盟地平線、美國能源部基金等科研項(xiàng)目，擔(dān)任Resources, Conservation & Recycling、Ecosystem Health and Sustainability等可持續(xù)領(lǐng)域SCI期刊編輯，入選氣候債券倡議組織（Climate Bonds Initiative）低碳水泥標(biāo)準(zhǔn)委員會(huì)。具體研究問題和案例覆蓋全球大宗材料循環(huán)再生與減排潛力評(píng)估、建成環(huán)境與交通基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施的資源代謝與可持續(xù)性評(píng)估等多個(gè)領(lǐng)域。曾在Nature Sustainability、Nature Communications、Environmental Science & Technology等期刊發(fā)表論文30余篇，相關(guān)研究成果被國際能源署（IEA）、聯(lián)合國政府間氣候變化專門委員會(huì)（IPCC）等大篇幅引述。
報(bào)告內(nèi)容簡介：
Material stock plays a pivotal role in shaping patterns of resource use and environmental impacts associated with the life cycle of materials, because stocks of materials accumulating in our society link service provision to flows of materials and energy. Managing booming resource use and CO2 emissions associated with the life cycle of cement and concrete has become a global challenge, thus calling for a systemic understanding of the material basis that sustains human well-being.
