內容簡介:
A detrimental relation has evolved between contemporary economic development and the atmosphere. Concurrently, conventional energy prices are climbing and have displayed increasing volatility, making our energy future less certain and more costly. In response to this problem, major changes in the energy sector are expected.
How might we change the energy sector to respond effectively to climate change? What impacts will higher conventional energy prices have on next-generation energy technology choice? Are markets ready to invest in major energy change? What role might policy play?
The seminar examines the technology, market and policy options available to us.
