Lisa Qixun Siebers (PhD Business, UK; MBA, UK; BSc Economics, China) is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University, UK. She has been living in the UK for about 14 years. Her research interests are in the areas of cross-border transfer of management practices in relation to international retailing, firm internation-alisation and Chinese investments in Africa. Her articles have appeared in international journals, including Organization Studies, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Journal of Strategic Marketing, Personnel Review, and Journal of Business Strategy. Her research monograph Retail Internationalization in China – Expansion of Foreign Retailers was published in 2011 by Palgrave Macmillan.
內容介紹：
This research focuses on transfer of management practices from a strategic and marketing perspective. To do so,it focus on three key streams. The first stream is on international retailing; from a resource-based view, the author evaluates marketing strategies of international retailers, factors influencing customer satisfaction, and retail innovation. The second stream is on retail internationalisation; from an institution-based view, the author investigates the effectiveness of management transfer, cross-border cultural issues and HRM issues. The third stream is on Chinese investments in Africa; through a post-colonial approach, the author analyses Chinese management practices in Africa, internationalisation strategies of Chinese firms, and trio-cultural values of China, Africa and the West. Professor Lisa Qixun Siebers will introduce these areas, linking to her research outputs and aiming to open discussion for collaborative opportunities。
