內(nèi)容簡(jiǎn)介:
There is a wide range of technology support for learning that, additionally, has many facets and issues as a function of different stakeholders. To students, technology supported learning is a continuing innovation and an expectation, based on their existing pervasive use of (increasing mobile) technology and social networking. Faculty, however, have quite a different background and often view technology supported learning as a disruptive innovation. Not uncommon is concern for if, when and how technology should be made available and effectively integrated in a pedagogically sensitive fashion and what intended (and unintended) consequences might prevail.  Institutions worldwide are struggling with reward systems issues and support options. This presentation will reflect on over 20 years of experience in getting technology supported learning used and useful in Hong Kong and beyond. Special attention will be given to issues of faculty development and e-learning strategy creation.
