主講人簡(jiǎn)介:
Dr. Zhichang Zhu currently is Reader in Strategy and Management, University of Hull Business School. Zhichang was a Maoist Red Guard, farm labourer, lorry driver, enterprise manager, collage teacher, IS/IT/business consultant, in China, Singapore and the UK. Without a school certificate/university degree due to China’s ‘Cultural Revolution’, he earned a Masters and a Doctorate, supported by British scholarships. Zhichang is now based at the University of Hull Business School, teaching, researching and consulting in strategy around the world.

This talk presents the development of applied systems thinking and practice in the west, particularly focuses on social problem-solving. It summarises the background, process, and current situation of the movement, with a critical reflection, which would be useful for considering how the systems movement should developed in China.
