主講人簡(jiǎn)介：
牟效毅，本科畢業(yè)于中國(guó)人民大學(xué)貿(mào)易經(jīng)濟(jì)系，博士畢業(yè)于美國(guó)俄克拉荷馬大學(xué)（University of Oklahoma），經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)博士。現(xiàn)任英國(guó)鄧迪大學(xué)能源法律與政策中心副教授，能源經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)科暨能源研究專(zhuān)業(yè)碩士項(xiàng)目負(fù)責(zé)人，研究方向?yàn)楫a(chǎn)業(yè)組織和能源經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)。其論文曾在Journal of Industrial Economics, Economic Inquiry, Energy Journal, and Energy Economics等雜志發(fā)表。 牟效毅博士是美國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)會(huì)、國(guó)際能源經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)會(huì)（International Association for Energy Economics）會(huì)員，并曾于2005年、2006年連續(xù)兩次獲得IAEE最佳學(xué)生論文獎(jiǎng)。在赴鄧迪大學(xué)任教前，牟效毅博士于2006-2008年在知名的能源咨詢(xún)公司Global Energy Decisions （現(xiàn)ABB Ventyx）任高級(jí)咨詢(xún)師，主要從事電力市場(chǎng)的咨詢(xún)與預(yù)測(cè)工作。他曾于2005年在得州電力市場(chǎng)公司（ERCOT）實(shí)習(xí)。 1994-2001年，在中國(guó)石油天然氣集團(tuán)公司及中國(guó)石油天然氣股份公司（“中國(guó)石油”）從事石油銷(xiāo)售與計(jì)劃管理工作。
內(nèi)容簡(jiǎn)介：
The first part is based on one of the author’s recently published papers, “Small Trend and Big Cycles in Crude Oil Prices” which looks at the behaviour of oil prices in 150 years. The second part regarding oil price outlook looks at the long-term demand and supply fundaments with a particular focus on the market structure and strategies of OPEC and US shale industry. The third part focuses on the drivers of US shale gas revolution and some of the environmental concerns. We will also offer some insight on whether the shale gas revolution can happen in China.
