應(yīng)管理與經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)院的邀請(qǐng)，香港城市大學(xué)方鈺麟教授來(lái)偉德國(guó)際官網(wǎng)進(jìn)行交流，并于2018年1月17日上午，在主樓133會(huì)議室做了題為《System Dynamics Modeling for Information Systems Research - Theory Development and Practical Application》的學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告。報(bào)告會(huì)由偉德國(guó)際官網(wǎng)張毅祥副教授主持，學(xué)院眾多師生參加了報(bào)告會(huì)。
方鈺麟教授首先介紹了自己的研究領(lǐng)域和相關(guān)成果，以及當(dāng)初進(jìn)行這篇論文研究的背景。然后從什么是理論貢獻(xiàn)以及如何進(jìn)行理論擴(kuò)展入手，指出信息系統(tǒng)領(lǐng)域有很多研究都開(kāi)發(fā)了用來(lái)解釋和預(yù)測(cè)的variance model，而對(duì)系統(tǒng)模型則考慮較少，特別是很大程度上忽略了互為因果的、有時(shí)滯的因果機(jī)制。而系統(tǒng)動(dòng)力學(xué)提供了一個(gè)基于系統(tǒng)思考的方法論，可以考慮這些因果機(jī)制，從而對(duì)現(xiàn)有基于variance model的理論進(jìn)行擴(kuò)展。接下來(lái)，以企業(yè)電子商務(wù)投資和企業(yè)績(jī)效之間的關(guān)系為例，展示了如何利用系統(tǒng)動(dòng)力學(xué)對(duì)現(xiàn)有理論進(jìn)行擴(kuò)展，并解釋現(xiàn)有研究之中不一致的研究發(fā)現(xiàn)。 與會(huì)人員與方鈺麟教授就相關(guān)問(wèn)題進(jìn)行了充分的討論和交流，在報(bào)告結(jié)束后大家進(jìn)行了合影留念。
方鈺麟教授：Yulin Fang is a full professor at Department of Information Systems, City University of Hong Kong. He earned his PhD at Richard Ivey School of Business, The University of Western Ontario in Canada. His current research interests include strategic and managerial aspect of information systems and analytics. He is currently serving as a Senior Editor for Information Systems Research and Information Systems Journal, and a co-editor-in-chief for Information Technology & People. He is also on the Editorial Board of Journal of Strategic Information Systems. He was an Associate Editor for several leading journals, including MIS Quarterly (2013-2016), Information Systems Research (2013-2016), and Information Systems Journal (2012-2015). He was awarded the Associate Editor of the Year at Information Systems Research in 2015. Professor Fang has published 50 research articles in renowned management and information systems journals, including MIS Quarterly (MISQ), Information Systems Research (ISR), Journal of Management Information Systems (JMIS), Journal of the Association for Information Systems (JAIS), Journal of Operations Management (JOM), Strategic Management Journal (SMJ), Journal of Management Studies (JMS), Organizational Research Methods (ORM), among others. Many of them are included in UT Dallas and Financial Time journal lists. His research on open source software communities won the 2009 Senior Scholars Best IS Publication Award by the Association for Information Systems (AIS), one out of the five in that year. His work on e-commerce published at MIS Quarterly was one of the Citation of Excellent Winners of Emerald Citations of Excellence in 2017.
